Congratulations on another great event. Every year you and team make this a 'must do again next year' for attendees. Surrounding Dr. Tatum with Spelman alum, was a brilliant way to showcase this impressive institution.
After hearing Rashida's story, I have decided women in transiton is how I would like to connect to the YWCA. While I try to thank the Lord for all my blessings on regular basis, her testimony seemed to be the nudge that said 'here is where you can truly give/show thanks'.
Renee Glover, President and CEO, Atlanta Housing Authority
Congratulations on another successful Women of Achievement event!!! All of the honorees are well-deserving and the selection of Dr. Beverly Tatum as the Woman of Achievement of 2012 was inspired. Also, the presentations by the various Spelman graduates and by the women and girls who have been assisted and inspired by the YWCA were outstanding and very touching. The Spelman Glee club and Steppers and the Drumline were amazing!!
