Bank of America Volunteer Project
On Saturday, October 2, 2010, Bank of America Volunteers gave their time and participated in a Community Service Project with the Early Learning Academy – Make & Take Project . The Bank of America volunteers assisted Pre-K teachers with designing activities
for the children called “Make & Take.” The project consists of pre-designed activities for children to take home. Some of the examples included: letter recognition, matching, and phonics activities. Volunteers cut out letters and pictures, color and pasted items into the folders. Volunteers also decorated bulletin boards, and labeled items in the classrooms. The make and take project was a big help for the teachers in preparation for the classrooms.
