Breast Cancer Awareness Tea

Survivors and speakers alike were tickled pink to attend Pink with a Purpose.

The YWCA EncorePlus program hosted their annual Pink With A Purpose Tea on September 16, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Downtown Decatur. Dr. Sheryl Gabram Mendola, Director of the Avon Comprehensive Breast Center Grady Health System, was the guest speaker.

Those attending were also inspired by songs performed by Atlanta’s own Shades of Pink Breast Cancer Survivors Choir. Other program highlights included poetry reading and testimonies from survivors June Haygood, Kendra Gulstone, and Eric Dunlap.
