YWCA Greater Atlanta Appoints New Members to its Board of Directors
Association’s expansion of leadership includes strong operational, financial, and advocacy experience from major industries
ATLANTA – July 21, 2025 – YWCA Greater Atlanta announced four new appointments to its Board of Directors: Ideisha Bellamy, chief executive officer, Georgia Child Care Association; Melissa Floyd, sales and operations Leader, Smurfit Westrock; Wen Nottebohm, managing director, wealth advisor, Cresset Capital; and Obehi Ogunbayo, director of executive recruiting, Cox Enterprises. The board members have been appointed to serve a three-year term, with an optional term renewal.
"We are honored to welcome these phenomenal leaders to our Board of Directors, particularly at this pivotal time,” said YWCA Greater Atlanta President and CEO Danita V. Knight. “As we embark on significant initiatives, including the reopening of the Phillis Wheatley Westside YWCA next year, their collective energy and expertise from across the public, private, and social impact sectors will add tremendous value to our association and advance our work to empower women, girls, and their families to build a more stable future.”
About Ideisha Bellamy
An accomplished nonprofit executive, strategic advisor, and advocate for women, children, and families, Ideisha Bellamy currently serves as chief executive officer of the Georgia Child Care Association, where she leads statewide advocacy and policy initiatives for Georgia’s child care industry. Before relocating to Atlanta, Bellamy built an impressive career blending public service, executive leadership, and entrepreneurship – serving as Kentucky’s state director of licensing for child care, child caring, and child placing facilities; chief operating officer at Maryhurst, one of Kentucky’s oldest and largest child-serving nonprofits; and founder of nonprofit consultancy, Bellamy Business Insights. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science and public administration from Indiana University and a master's degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Her past board service includes Maryhurst, Indiana University Southeast, and the Baptist Health Foundation. She is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
About Melissa Floyd
With over a decade of experience in supply chain operations, Melissa Floyd specializes in aligning organizational strategies with customer needs to drive business growth and profitability. She is sales and operations leader at Smurfit Westrock, where she serves as a member and thought leader for the global planning leadership team, playing a key role in driving strategic planning, long-term strategy, and tactical execution for a world-class mill system. Floyd holds a bachelor's degree in management from Savannah State University, an MBA from Mercer University, and an Executive MBA (Global Supply Chain) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is a member of APICS - The Association for Operations Management.
About Wen Nottebohm
As a managing director, wealth advisor at Cresset Capital, Wen Nottebohm works with clients to help protect and grow their legacy. She was named to the 2024 Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors, 2025 Barron’s Top Financial Advisors By State, 2024 Barron’s Top Women Financial Advisors, 2025 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State, and 2024 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors lists. Before Cresset, she held roles at Berman Capital Advisors, AQR Capital Management, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Nottebohm graduated from MIT with bachelor's degrees in economics and management science, respectively, and holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2019. She is involved in the Atlanta Regional Commission Global Advisory Panel, MIT Alumni Association, Wharton Club of Atlanta, and is a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2016.
About Obehi Ogunbayo
Obehi Ogunbayo is a strategic talent acquisition and human resources leader with comprehensive experience in full life-cycle recruitment, retention, and long & short-term strategy design and execution across North America. She is the director of executive recruiting for Cox Enterprises. Before joining Cox, Ogunbayo was the director of corporate recruiting for Hertz Holding. Other previous experience includes human resources and talent acquisition roles at Mercedes-Benz USA and The Bank of New York. Ogunbayo graduated from Montclair State University in New Jersey with a degree in marketing and management information systems. Among other interests, she volunteers with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Atlanta.
The new board appointees join the following existing members: Jennifer Winn (Chair), Cynthia Neal Spence (Vice Chair), Barbara Miller (Secretary), Sarah Irvin, Ingrid Saunders Jones, Anjum Khan, Joiava Philpott, Mary Elizabeth Roberson, Ann Stallard, and Anita Wallace Thomas.
