Biography: Madison Potts McAdoo

Madison Potts McAdoo joined YWCA Greater Atlanta in 2025 as Advocacy Program Manager. She is an award-winning activist, facilitator, and equity strategist committed to advancing racial and gender justice through education and advocacy. As Advocacy Education Manager at YWCA Greater Atlanta, she leads initiatives that equip emerging women leaders with the tools to influence policy, mobilize communities, and drive systemic change.

Before joining YWCA, Madison served as Program Director for the Courageous Conversation Global Foundation, where she guided national racial equity programs and partnerships with universities, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies. With nearly a decade of experience in social justice leadership, she has worked across education, nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors—collaborating with institutions such as UC Berkeley, the New York DOE, Eileen Fisher, and Drexel University.

A proud NAACP Image Award recipient, Madison holds a B.S. in Political Science and Sociology from Kennesaw State University and a Certificate in Diversity and Community Engagement. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the GA NAACP.

Madison is driven by a deep commitment to building equitable systems, amplifying community voice, and advancing meaningful change.
